We recently shifted to this city & it was our first visit to Laxmi Vilas Palace. Lakshmi Vilas Palace is the world’s largest private edifice built over 500 acres in 1890, is four times larger than Buckingham Palace. It is a majestic architectural structure of Raj-era and was the personal residence of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. The palace is famous for its mammothian size and extravagant design. Apart from an ornate Durbar Hall and multiple rooms. The royal estate also comprises multiple gardens, orchards, a museum and a small zoo.

Living cost is very less here as compared to metropolitan cities like Mumbai or Delhi. Makarpura, Gorwa, Atladra, Waghodia Road, Ajwa Road are some of the inexpensive areas to live in this city. this is the third-largest city in the state of Gujarat, but it doesn’t make it expensive.
