The purpose of the government is to make the farmers self-reliant by directly subsidizing the fertilizer companies without giving them contracts.

This money will meet the farmers in two phases, the first installment of Rs 6,000 subsidy before Kharib season sowing and the second installment of Rs 5,000 subsidy before Rabi season sowing.
The government will directly deposit the subsidy given in this scheme to the bank account of the farmers instead of giving it to the fertilizer companies.
With the subsidy under this scheme, farmers can buy good fertilizers, medicines and seeds.
