Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has launched this Abua Awas Scheme on 15th August 2023 for the welfare of the people of his state. Under this scheme, as a helping hand to the needy and poor families, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced to provide a three-room house for that family.
Purpose of Abua Awas Scheme
Under this scheme, free 3-room houses will be provided Chief Minister to destitute, poor families. A budget of 15 thousand crore rupees has been fixed for this scheme and 8.5 lakh beneficiaries of this scheme will benefit from this scheme.

Abua Awas Scheme Eligibility
- Applicant must be permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
- Applicant must be residing in any rural area of Jharkhand State.
- The applicant should not have a house in his name in any area.
- Remaining beneficiaries of PMAY housing scheme and other homeless people will also be eligible under Abuwa Awas Yojana.
